BGMEA, in partnership with the Government of Bangladesh’s Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), marked a key milestone in building a future-ready workforce for the garment industry.
On 23 December 2025, 80 talented graduates received certificates at a ceremony held at Mahabub Ali Hall, BGMEA Building, Chattogram, recognizing their successful completion of industry-focused training aligned with modern technologies and evolving sector needs.
Enamul Aziz Chowdhury, Director of BGMEA and Director-in-Charge of the Standing Committee on NGO Affairs, BGMEA Chattogram, attended the event as chairperson. In his remarks as the keynote speaker, he emphasized the project’s core message—“Skill is the New Power” and “Your Skills, Your Future”, highlighting the program’s role in promoting sustainable, ethical, and responsible industrial leadership.
The event was graced by Reaz Weaz, Chairman of the Standing Committee on NGO Affairs, BGMEA Chattogram, along with committee members Wadud Mohd. Chowdhury, Arshadur Rahman and Kazi Md. Shafiqul Islam as special guests.
The program was moderated by Ashfaqur Rahman, Project Coordinator, SICIP–BGMEA.
