The SICIP–BGMEA “On-Campus Recruitment 2025” for students was held on December 13, 2025 (Saturday) morning at International Standard University (ISU). The initiative was implemented by Snowtex Group, one of the country’s leading apparel exporters.
The Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) is being implemented under the supervision of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), with financing from the Ministry of Finance of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
BGMEA Director and Managing Director of Rumana Fashion Limited, Rumana Rashid, attended the program as the chief guest. Fahim Mubashir, Head of Recruitment, Human Resources Department of Snowtex Group, was present as a guest.
The event was chaired by Munir Chowdhury, Chief Coordinator of the CCP–BGMEA Program. Overall coordination was carried out by Md. Ashfakur Rahman, Job Placement and Database Coordinator of CCP–BGMEA. From International Standard University, Aminul Haque, A. K. M. Rafiqul Alam, and Md. Salman Osman Aranya were present.
Speaking at the event, BGMEA Director Rumana Rashid said that a skill-based recruitment system is playing a vital role in further strengthening Bangladesh’s apparel sector. She added that CCP–BGMEA is creating an effective bridge between training and employment to develop skilled human resources.
