শত বাধা অতিক্রম করে এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে বাংলাদেশ —প্রধানমন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশের চলার পথে অনেক সময় অনেক বাধা এসেছে, তবে সেসব অতিক্রম করে দেশ এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা। তিনি বলেন, শত বাধা অতিক্রম করে আমরা সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে যাচ্ছি। ২০০৮ সালের নির্বাচনী ইশতেহারের রূপকল্প অর্জন হয়েছে জানিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, পরিকল্পিতভাবে আমরা সব কর্মসূচি বাস্তবায়ন করতে পারছি বলেই দেশ এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

Kosovo Ambassador pays courtesy call on BGMEA President Ambassador of Kosovo to Bangladesh Güner Ureya has paid a courtesy call on BGMEA President Faruque Hassan. The duo met at BGMEA PR office in Gulshan on Wednesday. BGMEA Vice President Shahidullah Azim was also present on the occasion. Ambassador Ureya invited Bangladeshi businessmen to explore opportunities for investment and joint ventures in Kosovo.

বাংলাদেশকে স্বল্পোন্নত দেশ থেকে উত্তরণের সুপারিশ জাতিসংঘের বাংলাদেশকে স্বল্পোন্নত দেশের (এলডিসি) কাতার থেকে উত্তরণের সুপারিশ করেছে জাতিসংঘের সাধারণ পরিষদ। পরিষদের ৭৬তম বৈঠকের ৪০তম প্লেনারি সভায় এ সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়। বৈঠকটি অনুষ্ঠিত হয় মঙ্গলবার। বাংলাদেশের অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয় বুধবার রাত সাড়ে ১১টায় এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানায়। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, অর্থমন্ত্রী আ হ ম মুস্তফা কামাল এটিকে ‘ঐতিহাসিক অর্জন’ বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন এবং একে বাংলাদেশের উন্নয়নযাত্রার এক মহান মাইলফলক হিসেবে অভিহিত করেছেন।

Digital delivery orders from Ctg port’s shipping agents from Dec 1 The Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) is going to introduce online system for issuance of delivery orders by the shipping agents or freight forwarders against import consignments. The CPA on Monday evening issued a notice urging six leading shipping agents to issue electronic delivery order (EDO) on experimental basis from December 1. The six shipping agents are APL Bangladesh Pvt Ltd, Maersk Bangladesh Ltd, Continental Traders BD Ltd, Continental Traders, Ocean International Ltd and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company Bangladesh Ltd.

German business morale darkens on supply bottlenecks, Covid wave German business morale deteriorated for the fifth month running in November as supply bottlenecks in manufacturing and a spike in coronavirus infections clouded the growth outlook for Europe's largest economy, a survey showed on Wednesday. The Ifo institute said its business climate index fell to 96.5 from 97.7 in October. A Reuters poll of analysts had pointed to a November reading of 96.6.
