On 04 November 2025, a BGMEA delegation held a meeting with Nowshad Mostofa, Director and Head of the SME Department at Bangladesh Bank. The discussion focused on the banking challenges faced by SME entrepreneurs and possible measures to address them.

Present at the meeting were BGMEA Director Mohammad Sohel, One Stop Standing Committee Chairman Mozammel Haque Bhuiyan, PR Standing Committee Chairman Mohammad Masud Kabir, SME Standing Committee Chairman Mohammad Rubayet, SME Standing Committee Co-Chairman Mohammad Mohsin Apu, Mobarak Hossain Bhuiyan, and Paritosh Pal.

The discussion particularly covered the latest SME circulars from Bangladesh Bank, rescheduled circulars, and special funds.
