On 2 April BGMEA Vice President Ms. Vidiya Amrit Khan joined as an esteemed speaker at a roundtable “Closing the Loop: Advancing Circularity in Bangladesh’s RMG Sector,” organized by LightCastle Partners under the Bunon 2030 initiative, supported by the H&M Foundation.

The session brought together key industry stakeholders including Factory, Think-tanks, Development Partners and EU representatives to discuss pathways for embedding circularity, decarbonization, and resource efficiency within the RMG sector. 

During the discussion, Vice President Vidiya Amrit Khan highlighted BGMEA’s ongoing initiatives on circularity, drawing from the experience and learnings of the SWITCH2CE pilot, and emphasized how Bangladesh’s RMG industry is gradually adapting to circular production models and recycling in response to global sustainability demands and regulatory shifts.
