The BGMEA Japan Desk recently hosted a high-level Factory Interaction Session on 14 September 2026 at the BGMEA Complex, bringing together BGMEA leaders, Bangladeshi manufacturers, and key Japanese business delegates to strengthen bilateral RMG cooperation and unlock new export opportunities under the Bangladesh-Japan EPA. 

Addressed by Vice President (Finance) Mijanur Rahman, Directors Mohammed Sohel and Rumana Rashid, and Advisor Kazi Sarwar Habib, the event focused on building a Japan-ready industry rooted in absolute quality, compliance, ethical bargaining, transparent early communication, and continuous improvement. Secretary General of BGMEA Major General Dr. Md. Shahedul Islam (Retd.) made the opening remarks at the event.
