On 31 March 2026, BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble State Minister for the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Md. Shariful Alam.

BGMEA Director A.B.M. Shamsuddin and Chairman of the One Stop Standing Committee Mozammel Haque Bhuiya were also present at the meeting.

During the discussion, various important issues related to the country’s garment industry were addressed in detail. In particular, BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan emphasized the importance of government policy support for sustainable development, enhancing competitiveness, and ensuring the continued growth of the industry.
