BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman has been awarded Commercially Important Person (CIP) status for his contribution to the country’s economic growth through exports.
The BGMEA President received the CIP-2013 award from Honorable Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, MP at a function held at a city hotel in the capital on 27 February 2017.
A total of 164 persons received the CIP award-2013.
Commerce Secretary Hedayetullah Al Mamoon, ndc, EPB Vice-Chairman Mafruha Sultana and FBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmad were also present at the program.
