On 2 April 2026, BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan visited the BGMEA-run Mirpur Health Centre.

During the visit, those present at the health centre included Chairman Khandakar Mahidur Rahman Shaheen, Co-Chairmen Golam Faruk Talukdar and Kawsar Mia, Members Akter Hossain and Md. Haruk Ahmed, Nurul Tapan from the BGMEA Standing Committee on TB Control and Dengue, N R Chowdhury, Member of Konabari Health Centre, and Mr. Kazi Mahajur Alam from the Standing Committee on Market Development, along with other distinguished individuals.

The BGMEA President interacted with all officers and staff of the health centre and school, and held detailed discussions on the facilities and challenges related to the medical services of the health centre and the activities of the school.

Later, he visited the health centre and the under-construction hospital along with the attendees. At the end of the visit, he urged everyone to work together to improve the quality of services.
