BGMEA participated in the 1st Global C&I Visionaries Summit, organized by Huawei Digital Power in Dongguang and Shenzhen, China from 25-29 January 2026, engaging with global leaders on the future of decarbonization, renewable energy, and intelligent power solutions. 

The BGMEA delegation led by Sheikh Hossain Muhammad Mustafiz, Director, BGMEA; Kamran Sadique, Chairman, Standing Committee on RSC & Co-Chair, Standing Committee on Decarbonisation, BGMEA; Md. Amir Haider, Managing Director, Future Clothing Ltd; & and Alam Sajjadul, Senior Assistant Secretary, The Future Center, BGMEA attended the summit.

During the summit, the BGMEA delegation actively participated in the expo sessions and undertook guided visits to Huawei’s solar inverter production facilities, gaining first-hand exposure to advanced manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and large-scale production capabilities.

The delegation also visited Huawei’s state-of-the-art Research & Development (R&D) centers, where cutting-edge innovations in PV systems, energy storage solutions, digital monitoring platforms, and intelligent energy optimization technologies were showcased. A major highlight of the visit was the in-depth demonstration of PV + ESS integrated solutions, designed specifically for commercial and industrial applications. 

This engagement reflects BGMEA’s continued commitment to supporting Bangladesh’s RMG industry in adopting clean energy, energy efficiency, and low-carbon manufacturing pathways, aligned with global sustainability expectations and future competitiveness.

Representing Bangladesh on such global platforms strengthens collaboration, knowledge exchange, and collective progress toward a more resilient and climate-responsible apparel industry.
