An annual prize distribution ceremony and a free eye camp were held at the initiative of BGMEA School Chattogram. The program took place on Sunday (19 April) at the school campus in Muradpur, Chattogram city. On this occasion, BGMEA distributed school uniforms, bags, shoes, and various educational materials free of cost among more than one hundred students.

During the event, eye examinations were conducted for over two hundred local residents, guardians, and students. Annual sports prizes were also distributed among the students.

In his speech as Chief Guest, BGMEA First Vice President (Acting) Mohammad Rafique Chowdhury said that BGMEA has been operating the school entirely with its own funding since 2005 out of social responsibility. He noted that over the past 20 years, more than a hundred students who studied at this free school have become established in society.

BGMEA School Director-in-Charge Enamul Aziz Chowdhury said that many students of the school are now studying in government medical colleges and engineering institutions, and several have already become doctors and engineers.

In his presidential speech, Arshad-ur-Rahman stated that the students of BGMEA School are studying in a very good environment.

Special Guest Md. Shaif Ullah Mansur inspired students by highlighting the benefits of higher education and examples of successful individuals in society.

Nurul Islam Chowdhury Utpal, Managing Director of Chittagong Four Brothers Apparels Limited; Mohammad Abdul Shukur, Chairman of SME Standing Committee and Managing Director of Dressing King Limited; and Kazi Jasim Uddin, President of Lions Club of Chattogram Khulshi.
