BGMEA warmly welcomed newly appointed Superintendent of Police of Industrial Police-3, Chattogram, Mahamuda Begum.

At a meeting held on 20 May 2026 at the BGMEA Complex in Chattogram, discussions were held on the overall situation in the industrial area ahead of the upcoming holy Eid-Ul-Adha, including the payment of workers’ wages and bonuses, as well as the law and order situation.

BGMEA leaders informed that salary payments have already been completed in most garment factories in Chattogram, while the remaining factories are also proceeding with the disbursement process on an urgent basis. It was also mentioned that Industrial Police and BGMEA are working in close coordination to maintain a peaceful environment in the industrial area.

Newly appointed Superintendent of Police Mahamuda Begum assured full cooperation in maintaining stability, peace, and discipline in the industrial sector.
