BGMEA Leaders led by its president Md. Siddiqur Rahman distributed relief worth 45 lac among Rohingyas at Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar on 1 October.
BGMEA gave relief to five thousand Rohingya families each 5kg rice, 1 kg dal, 0.5 kg salt, 1 liter soybean oil, 1 packet soap, 5 packets saline, 1 box match and 5 pcs candles.

Vice President of BGMEA SM Mannan (Kochi), Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir, Vice President Md. Ferdous, Directors Md. Shahidul Haque Mukul, Md. Ashikur Rahman (Tuhin), Md. Atiqul Karim Khan, Amjad Hossain Chowdhury, Syed Mohammed Tanvir, ANM Saifuddin and Md. Shaif Ullah were present during the relief distribution.
