Leaders of BGMEA bade farewell to outgoing Head of the EU Delegation and Ambassador to Bangladesh H.E. Pierre Mayaudon.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman thanked the departing EU Ambassador for his constructive role in strengthening the Bangladesh-EU relations. Terming the EU as the key export destination for Bangladesh’s apparel, he further laid emphasis on continued support from EU for the industry.
BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir and Vice President Ferdous Perves Bivon were also present on the occasion.
The BGMEA Leaders hoped that though H.E. Pierre Mayaudon was leaving Bangladesh, he would always remain as the Goodwill Ambassador of Bangladesh to the EU.
