A meeting was held between BGMEA leaders and a team of JICA at the BGMEA office on 10 December.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Directors Miran Ali, Iqbal Hamid Quraishi (Adnan) and A.N.M. Saifuddin represented BGMEA while the JICA team was led by its Senior Representative Hiroyuki Tomita.
At the meeting they discussed how the factories that need affordable loans for safety improvement can easily access to the 100-crore fund initiated by JICA.
JICA Representative Koichi Kitamura and JICA Deputy Program Officer Kaniz Fatema were also present at the meeting.
