BGMEA leaders paid a courtesy call on H. E. Pierre Mayaudon, Ambassador & Head of Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh, at the latter’s residence in Dhaka on 11 January.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir and Vice President Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu) discussed different RMG related issues with the EU Ambassador.
They also had a brief discussion on the upcoming meeting of the EU Sustainability Compact which will be held on 28 January 2016.
FrédéricMaduraud, Minister Counsellor, Head of Political, Economic, Press and Information Section at EU Delegation to Bangladesh, and Mario Ronconi, Minister Counsellor, Head of Unit - Head of Cooperation, were also present on the occasion.
