Physicians and employees of 11 healthcare centers run by BGMEA observed World TB Day on March 24. They took part in a procession organized by the Directorate General of Health Services in observance of the Day.
The procession marched on different roads in the capital with colorful banners to raise awareness about TB among people.
BGMEA runs 11 Health Centers that provides healthcare facilities and medicines to more than 60,000 garment workers per year at free of cost. The centers also provide awareness program on HIV/ AIDS, tuberculosis, reproductive health and use of contraceptives.
