A new banking booth of BRAC Bank has been inaugurated at the BGMEA Complex to provide fast, modern and convenient banking services to entrepreneurs, officials and employees of the readymade garment (RMG) sector.

The booth was formally inaugurated on 3 September 2026 in the presence of BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan and senior officials of BRAC Bank. BGMEA Senior Vice President Inamul Haq Khan (Bablu) and Vice President (Finance) Mijanur Rahman were also present on the occasion.

Among the senior officials of BRAC Bank present at the event were Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan; Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Mahiul Islam; Deputy Managing Director and Head of Branch Distribution Network Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaq; Deputy Managing Director and Head of Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking Mohammad Asif Bin Idris; and Head of Transaction Banking, Wholesale Banking, A K M Faisal Halim, along with other senior officials from both organizations.

Through the newly launched booth, visitors, businesspeople and stakeholders of the apparel sector visiting the BGMEA Complex will be able to access 24/7 ATM, cash deposit facilities and other essential banking services conveniently.

At the inauguration ceremony, BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan appreciated BRAC Bank’s continued support for the overall development of the apparel industry.
