A fashion show termed 'Denim Innovation Night' was held in Dhaka to highlight the capability of Bangladesh in innovative design and creative presentation of denim wears.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman attended the show as Chief Guest, which was presented by the Pacific Jeans Group on the inaugural day of the 7th Bangladesh Denim Expo held in Dhaka on 8th November.
The BGMEA President said that the next phase of industrialization in Bangladesh would be an era of knowledge and innovation. “We cannot make our export double by manufacturing basic products only. We have to give more attention to value addition, research, innovation and modernization of our factories”, he added.
Ambassador and the Head of Delegation of European Union to Bangladesh H.E. Rense Teerink was the Guest of Honor at the program. Chairman and Managing Director Pacific Jeans Group Md. Nasir Uddin, and Founder and CEO of Bangladesh Denim Expo Mostafiz Uddin also spoke on the occasion.
