The government has appointed Dr. Rubana Huq, the President of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) as a committee member of the Business and Human Rights and Corporate Social Responsibility, NHRCB.

With this appointment she is now a part of the National Human Rights Commission of Bangladesh (NHRCB), a national advocacy institution for human rights promotion and protection.
