The Forum panel, led by Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu), has won the biennial election of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), securing 31 out of 35 director posts, according to the final results announced by the election commission.

The election took place on May 31 in both Dhaka and Chattogram, with strong voter turnout—88.2% in Dhaka and 83.8% in Chattogram. A total of 1,631 out of 1,864 votes were cast in the election.

Of the 35 director positions, 26 were in the Dhaka region and 9 in Chattogram. The Forum panel won 25 director posts in Dhaka and 6 in Chattogram. The Sammilito Parishad panel won four posts—one in Dhaka and three in Chattogram.

Now, the elected directors will nominate the president, vice-presidents, and other office bearers for the 2025–27 term.
