Group insurance cheques were handed over to the 30 nominees of deceased garment workers.
The cheque hand-over ceremony was held at BGMEA Conference Room in Dhaka on 26 May 2015. BGMEA President Md. Atiqul Islam presided over the event while Hon’ble State Minister for Labour & Employment Mojibul Haque Chunnu was present as the Chief Guest. The minister handed over the cheques to the nominees. Among others, Vice President (Finance) of BGMEA Reaz-Bin-Mahmood was also present at the event.
