A delegation of International Monetary Fund (IMF) paid a visit to BGMEA and met its President Md. Siddiqur Rahman at BGMEA office on 5 March.
The IMF delegation included Ragnar Gudmundsson, Resident Representative; Daisaku Kihara, Division Chief, South Asia 2 Division, Asia and Pacific Department; Jiri Jonas, Senior Economist, Asia and Pacific Department; Jayendu De, Economist,  Asia and Pacific Department; Mohua Roy, Advisor to Executive Director; and Mohammad Imam Hussain, Economist. 
The BGMEA President informed the delegation about different aspects of the Bangladesh RMG industry.
