For standardization of Occupational Health & Safety aspects among BGMEA Member factories followings are recommended for implementation:
    To examine and verify report of the soil test and the structural design as regards to suitability for factory purpose.
    To remove Telephone Tower or any unauthorized Installations built over factory rooftop.
    To shift Generator from rooftop/upper floors to the ground floor as per recommendation of engineer and to keep 25% of rooftop open and free.
    To check and examine regularly Electric Load, Wiring and Safety of such equipment.
    To keep all the stairs free for easy and convenient entry and exit to and from the factory floors at all time. No goods/materials are to be kept on the stairs/passage, which might cause obstruction for free movement of personnels.
    Factory must keep all the Gates open during working hours of the factory.
    To check Fire Alarm and Emergency Light at regular intervals for its operability/serviceability.
    To arrange required number of Fire Extinguisher, ensure sufficient water in hydrant and install hose-reel and other related equipment serviceable for use.
    To give access to officials of BGMEA Fire Safety Cell for monitoring all safety aspects and to permit them to conduct fire drill.
    Factory to hold Fire Drill as per rule and keep records of all such activities conducted by BGMEA Safety Cell.
    To keep trained Fire Fighting personnel of Dept of Fire Service and Civil Defense/Safety Cell, BGMEA to combat fire occurrences.
    To bring security aspect under CCTV surveillance.
    To introduce and implement Workers’ Service Books, if not done as yet.  
    To activate Workers Database with link to Central Database of BGMEA.
