The SICIP-BGMEA Program organized an Employers’ Meeting on 31 October 2026 at International Standard University (ISU), Dhaka, to strengthen industry collaboration, address skill gaps, and enhance employment opportunities in Bangladesh’s ready-made garment (RMG) sector.

Majumdar Arifur Rahman, Director, BGMEA, graced the event as Chief Guest, while Ms. Rumana Rashid Rumana Rashid, Director, BGMEA chaired the meeting.

HR leaders and representatives from 10 organizations participated, including Al-Muslim Group, Fashion Step Group, Centro Tex, Aman Graphics & Design, Purbani Group, Magpie Composite Textile Ltd., Standard Group, Fabrica Knit Composite Ltd., CR Team Ltd., and Rising Group.

The meeting underscored the importance of industry-aligned training, stronger employer engagement, and collaborative efforts to develop a skilled workforce and promote sustainable employment in the RMG sector.
