Spouses of visiting Naval Chiefs and senior naval representatives of different countries visited BGMEA on 13 January.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman welcomed them to BGMEA while Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir, Vice President Ferdous Perves Bivon and Directors M.A. Rahim (Feroz), Anowar Hossain (Manik) and A.N.M. Saifuddin were present.
The visiting guests expressed their interest to know about the RMG industry of Bangladesh. The BGMEA leaders briefed them about the apparel industry of Bangladesh and its contribution to socio-economic development of the country.
The Naval Chiefs, senior naval representatives of different countries came to Bangladesh to attend the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) 2016 held in Dhaka to promote international and regional cooperation and collaboration among the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) countries.
