Stakeholders' engagement meeting organized by BUFT, NICHE

BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) and Netherlands Initiative for Capacity Building in Higher Education (NICHE) project/BGD-199 jointly organized a meeting on stakeholders’ engagement at a city hotel on 25 February.
Honorable Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, MP attended the program as chief guest.
Honorable State Minister Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam, MP, BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Ambassador of the Netherlands H.E. Leoni Margaretha Cuelenaere were present as special guests at the program which was chaired by Chairman of BUFT Trustees Board Muzaffar U. Siddique.
The NICHE project/BGD-199 aims to enhance the knowledge and application of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Innovative Leadership within the Ready Made Garment (RMG) sector in Bangladesh, and to promote socioeconomic development, environmental protection, international compliance and equal participation of women in mid and top level positions in the sector.
BGMEA Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan and BUFT Pro Vice Chancellor and NICHE project/BGD-199 Coordinator Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, among others, were present at the program.
